What services do you provide?

We provide a range of services, including:

-Home layout and floor plan design: We work closely with you to design a floor plan which incorporates all of your needs and wants, and we come up with creative ideas to optimize your use of your space. We can help whether you are looking for an entirely new floor plan, or just a modification of your existing one. We can also help you create your ideal landscaping plan to compliment your home and maximize your use of your property.

-Plans and permitting: Once we’ve created your ideal floor plan, we source and work closely with any other design professionals required to make your project a reality, including, if necessary, structural engineers, soil engineers etc. We can also help you obtain any required city building permits.

-Interior design: We offer architectural interior design services (for example, lighting plans, ceiling designs, etc), as well as more traditional “interior design” services (color palette, material selection etc).

-Construction project management: We take the stress out of your construction project by keeping your project on track. We work directly with your contractor (who we can help you source) to ensure that your project is being executed in accordance with your vision. Construction is complicated and the process can be fraught with unforeseen glitches; we help to save you time and money by anticipating these hurdles and preventing, catching and finding solutions to any problems that may arise. Homeowners are often caught off guard by how much time (during the workday!) it takes to monitor the progress of their project and to work with their contractor to address any issues, and our goal is to take that burden from you.

do you get all the required city permits?

Yes, we handle all required interactions with the city so that you don’t have to take time out of your busy day to navigate what is often a complicated and frustrating process.

DO I have to use all the services or can I pick and choose?

You can pick and choose. We can create a custom package for you which includes only those services that you need.

what is the typical cost for a home design?

Costs vary depending on the scope of the project. We to strive to present design options to you which are within your budget.

what do I as the home owner need to worry about?

Our goal is to make the answer to this — “nothing.” All we need from you is an understanding of what you are looking for and how much of the work load you want us to take on for you. Some of our previous clients have had a clear vision of what they wanted their end product to look like, and looked to us primarily to provide additional unique ideas and manage the process for them. Others have come to us with just the desire to change their space, but have looked to us to come up with and execute on all ideas. We can work with either scenario and everything in between!
